General Terms

By submitting an order request through castellodivelonavini.it (“the Site”), you agree to be bound by the following Castello di Velona (“Castello di Velona “, “we”, “us” or the “Company”) Checkout Order Request Terms. By using the Castello di Velona website, you also agree to be bound by all policies set out on the Castello di Velona website, www.castellodivelonavini.it, including the following:

Castello di Velona may, in its sole discretion, revise the Castello di Velona Order Request Terms from time to time, and it is your responsibility to review the Castello di Velona Checkout Order Request Terms each time you submit an order request through Castello di Velona website. Castello di Velona may, in its sole discretion, revise the additional policies listed above, and it is your responsibility to review those policies each time you use the Castello di Velona website. Your continued use of the Castello di Velona website, or your submission of an order request through Castello di Velona website, constitutes your agreement to any such modifications.

Castello di Velona will review your order request, and may accept or reject your order. If accepted, your payment will be processed and Castello di Velona will ship your order. Castello di Velona may reject the order request for any reason, including, but not limited to: inadequate inventory, errors in pricing, compliance with any applicable laws and regulations, or any other reason.

Cancellation of Your Order Request

If you wish to cancel your order, you must notify Castello di Velona within twenty-four (24) hours of submitting your order request by contacting us by clicking here. Cancellation requests received by Castello di Velona website on Saturday and Sunday may not be processed until the following business day.

Requests for cancellation outside of this twenty-four (24) hour period may be considered by Castello di Velona at their own discretion, but Castello di Velona will not consider any requests for cancellation submitted longer than seven (7) days after submitting your order request. Orders that have already shipped cannot be canceled, even if you notify Castello di Velona within twenty-four (24) hours of submitting your order request. Accordingly, contact Castello di Velona as soon as possible if you wish to cancel.

Your Order Information

To submit an order request through Castello di Velona website, you will be required to provide payment, billing, and shipping information. The billing address you provide must match the address on your credit card statement. You may provide a shipping address that differs from your billing address. Please ensure all order information is correct. Once Castello di Velona has accepted your order request, and the twenty-four (24) hour cancellation period has expired, changes to this information may not be possible, and if possible, additional fees or penalties may apply.

Representation of Legal Drinking Age

IN THE UNITED STATES, ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES MAY BE SOLD AND DELIVERED ONLY TO PERSONS WHO ARE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD AND BY PLACING YOUR ORDER, YOU REPRESENT AND WARRANT THAT YOU ARE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD AND THAT THE PERSON TO WHOM DELIVERY WILL BE MADE IS AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD AND CAN ACCEPT DELIVERY OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. ALL DELIVERIES OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WILL REQUIRE THE SIGNATURE OF A PERSON AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD. THE PERSON RECEIVING DELIVERY MAY BE REQUIRED TO SHOW IDENTIFICATION PROVING THAT HE OR SHE IS AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD. OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES THE LOCAL MARKET’S LAW REGARDING THE LEGAL DRINKING AGE WILL BE REQUIRED.

Shipping

If your order request is accepted Castello di Velona will ship your order to the shipping address you provide. We recommend providing a business or commercial address for the shipping address. In the United States, provide a business or commercial address where an adult at least 21 years old will be present to receive and sign for the package during business hours.

Please ensure all shipping information is correct. Once the Castello di Velona has accepted your order request, changes to the shipping information may not be possible, and if possible, additional fees or penalties may apply. Additionally, if the package cannot be delivered to the shipping address provided, additional fees or penalties may apply.

Weather Impacts on Shipping

Shipping companies may have policies that will delay the shipment of your order for extreme weather conditions (i.e., hot or cold temperatures that could damage your order). Some of our Shipping companies hold shipments of your wine during extreme weather conditions. Use the weather in your area as a guide when making a purchase, and try to purchase at good times for shipment. If the weather is very hot or cold in your area and you would like to delay your shipment date, please contact us. Keep in mind that Castello di Velona does not accept responsibility for wine damaged by weather.

Payment

If your order request is accepted by Castello di Velona, payment will be processed utilizing the credit card payment information you provide. Your credit card statement will state the name of Podere Castello responsible for the sale and fulfillment of alcoholic beverages to you, as identified during the order request submission process.

By entering credit card payment information, you represent and warrant that you have the legal right to use any credit card(s) utilized in connection with any transaction initiated through Castello di Velona website. Castello di Velona reserves the right to take legal action against persons attempting to fraudulently utilize credit card payment information. Consult the Seller’s policies for further information.

Refunds & Returns

Castello di Velona is committed to ensuring our customer’s satisfaction with all products purchased using the Castello di Velona Website. If an error was made by sending you an incorrect wine, or if you received a damaged wine, please contact us immediately, providing your order number and explaining the reasons for your dissatisfaction. We will review the specific circumstances on an individual basis and make a determination in a timely manner of whether the return request meets acceptable criteria. Should Castello di Velona accept responsibility for the error or flaw, we may either exchange the bottle(s) or issue a refund for the applicable amount. Returns may not be approved after 14 days of you receiving your shipment.

You are eligible for a refund or replacement if your shipment arrives damaged or ruined, excluding damage caused by extreme temperatures. To be eligible for a refund or replacement, you must notify Castello di Velona of your request and the reasons therefore within seventy-two (72) hours of your receipt of the shipment. Castello di Velona may require you to return damaged products in their original packaging or may require you to send pictures or other means of providing evidence of the damaged goods. Castello di Velona may reject your request for a refund or replacement if it cannot be verified that the product damage is eligible for a refund or replacement. Requests for replacements due to incorrect wine being received or damaged wine may be subject to a return shipping charge.

If you receive a shipment that contains the wrong product(s), you are eligible for a refund or replacement. To be eligible for a refund or replacement, you must notify Castello di Velona of your request and the reasons therefore within seventy-two (72) hours of your receipt of the shipment. Castello di Velona may require you to return the wrong products in their original packaging. Castello di Velona may only approve a request for a refund or replacement if the product you receive differs from the Products listed on the order request. Castello di Velona will reject any request for a refund or replacement based on your submission of an order request for the incorrect product.

Additionally, please note Castello di Velona will not accept returns, refunds, or replacement requests for damage caused by extreme temperatures.
